The ceramic experience is an award-winning visitor attraction and ceramic painting studio, situated on the A7 in Galashiels next to the Esso garage. Providing childrens activities, birthday parties, hen nights and office get togethers, you will have lots of fun with us - whatever the occasion.

We will be holding a variety of classes for children and adults. View our Diary of Events in the coming weeks for dates and times. You can learn how to make and personalise your own gifts, or why not preserve your child's hand or footprint forever on a plate or tile - the perfect gift for a mother, father or grandparent.

Childrens Parties

The ceramic experience is perfect for your childrens birthday party. Younger children can burn up all thier energy in our soft play area and ball pool, while the older children can learn to paint their own ceramics which they can then take home with them. The adults can join in the fun or chill out in our cafe area. Food and juice are all provided for the children and we do all the clearing up afterwards - what could be better!

Schools

The ceramic experience would be delighted to visit your school. We come equipped with everything needed for a painting session and tidy up after ourselves at the end. You can paint with underglaze paints which we take away to be fired (non-toxic, food-safe and dishwasher-proof), or with acrylics, which are instant.

We are open 7 days a week 10am - 5.30pm.
Last admission to the studio is at 5pm
